Dr. Jean Marie Humphries
Dr. Jean Marie Humphries, Assistant Professor of Teacher Education at Concordia College, NY has worked as teacher, curriculum developer, mentor and supervisor in elementary and special education for 20 years in various inner city Catholic, private and charter schools and in a rural public school. She holds permanent New York State Teaching Certification in Elementary Education (N-6), Reading (K-12) and Special Education (K-12.) Her undergraduate and graduate degrees are from the College of New Rochelle. She has a PhD in Language, Literacy and Learning from Fordham University where she taught literacy graduate courses, supervised student teachers and worked as a research assistant.
